Rabindranath Tagore was born in 7th May 1861 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India from a wealthy family. He used to be a poet, writer, and a music composer. Also made some drawing and painting.
Shri Debendranat Tagore was father of Rabindranath Tagore. He was a leader of Brahmo Society. It was new religious sect in nineteenth-century in Bengal. Which attempted Hinduism as laid down in the Upanishads.
His house is in Shantiniketan. It is a small town. It is approximately 180 kilometres from north of Calcutta. Shantiniketan was previously called Bhubandanga. It was named after Bhuban Sinha. He was a family of SP Sinha. This area was gifted by Sinha family to Tagore family. Shantiniketan also a tourist attraction. Becaue, he wrote many of his literacy classic, and his house is a place of historical importance.
The man was the youngest child. They were four brother, and one sister. Their name were Jyotirindranath Tagore, Satyendranath Tagore, Dwijendranath Tagore, Hemendranath Tagore, and SwarnaKumari Tagore. All of them were well educated. His sister was the first women got "Noble Prize" winner in India.
At the age of seven, Tagore started going to school, then quite in class four. He was a failure in school.
Rabindranath Tagore death was on 7th Aug 1941 in Calcutta. His body was caring all over the city. People were watching his dead body all over media.
