Bruce Lee / Bio / Tuesday 5-1-2012


  Bruce Lee, one of the most deadliest martial artist in the world.  He was an actor, film producer, Dancer, Philosopher and director.  Also invented his own fighting style called "Jeet Kune Do."
  His birth was on November 27, 1940, in San Fransisco, California.  At the Jackson Street Hospital.  He was the fourth child of his mother.  His father was a Hong Kong opera singer.  Bruce Lee was born after his parents move to the United States Of America.  
  They were five children.  Two sister, and two brothers, and him.  Their name was Phoebe Lee, Agnes Lee, Peter Lee, Bruce Lee and Robert Lee.  All of them had their own things to do.
  About his martial art trainng.  He got influenced by Wing Chung kung Fu style.  Lee started his training at the age thirteen in 1954.  His teachers name was Yip Man.  He was a great instructor.  Yip Man keep his students away from fighting with street gangs in Hong Kong. Practicing Wing Chung after a years, students refused to train with Lee.  That was after knowing his ancestry.  His mother was half Chinese and half Caucasian.  Lee tought himself how to box, and he learn some selective techniques from Tae Kwan Do, Karate, Savate, Muay Thai, Judo, Jiu Jitsu and some wrestling.  He had is own fighting strategy.
  At the age three months old, they put him in the movie called "Golden Gates Girl."  That was his very first film.  He actually started his film career at the age six in Hong Kong.  His first role was in a movie called "The Birth Of Mankind," then next movie was "My Son, Ali Cheun, and etc.  After he went back to the United States Of America, he started a show called "The Green Hornet."  Which aired from 1966 to 1967.  Later he went on the different TV shows as Iron Side and Longstreet as a guest appearance.  While his most notable role came in 1969 film Marlowe, starring James Garner.    In 1971, he took his wife, and two kid's to Hong Kong, where he grown up.  Over there he did some movies called Fist OF The Fury,The Way Of the Dragon, and the last film was "Enter The Dragon." 
  In July 20, 1973, the martial art legend past way at the age 32 in Hong Kong.  His body fly all the way to the United States Of America from Hong Kong.  He was berried in Seattle, Washington State.  Let him rest in peace.
